{"id":799,"date":"2026-02-11T14:13:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-11T19:13:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/watervillenyhistorical.org\/wp\/?page_id=799"},"modified":"2026-04-29T16:04:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T20:04:10","slug":"fill-our-piggy-bank-campaign","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/watervillenyhistorical.org\/wp\/?page_id=799","title":{"rendered":"Fill Our Piggy Bank Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As we celebrate 60 years of history and preservation with the Waterville Historical Society, help us ensure the society is here to support the community for another 60 years.\u00a0 Help us Fill Our Piggy Bank.\u00a0 As a small,\u00a0 all-volunteer organization, Waterville Historical Society needs to have a reserve fund to help with unexpected expenses and emergency costs.\u00a0 For example, during the 2024\/25 winter, we had multiple issues with the WHS boiler.\u00a0 These unexpected costs depleted the small reserve of funds we had on hand.\u00a0 We do not want that to happen again so as part of our 60th anniversary celebration, we are seeking donations to fill our piggy bank. Donations can be made in any denomination but as part of the 60th we are seeking: 6 donors at $1000, 10 donors at $600, 60 donors at $100 and 100 donors at $60. In one month, we raised $3300.\u00a0 Help us reach our goal of $24,000!! Donations can be mailed to WHS at 220 E.
