Waterville Historical Society is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026!  Help make this year special. Follow the link above for special events and programs.

Celebrate USA 250 in Waterville on July 4th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Bandstand Park.  Listen to a dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence at 11 a.m. followed by Voices of the Mohawk Valley and then enjoy live music, food from the Waterville Historical Society food tent, period desserts and fun children’s activities.

The Waterville Historical Society works to document, preserve, and educate about the history of the Village of Waterville, N.Y. and surrounding areas — a small area with a vibrant past! Admission is free, and donations are welcome. We are an all volunteer 501(c)(3). We are open April through December, Wednesdays from 10 to 4, by appointment, and for evening and weekend events. We are open by appointment only January through March.

We are located at:
